You have made the commitment to at least come to this blog site and see what this whole weight loss pool is all about. So far, so good! First we need to start with how this website will work as a communication tool between all of us in the pool. I will post information every so often about dieting, fitness, etc., anything that will help us all to lose weight. This information can be commented on by anyone in the pool as a way to motivate all of us!
To start everyone that wants to join will put $5 in the "pool" by paypal (more info on this later). The "official" weigh in will be Monday, Jan. 5th. Everyone will email me their current weight to amywalsh5@gmail.com by 12pm. Every week you will weigh yourself on Wednesday (yes, you get a couple of extra days on the first week) and then email your current weight to me. I will then post on everyone's progress. I WILL NOT post anyone's weight, I will only post pounds lost or gained. If you lose at least a pound, you will not put any money into the pool. If you have not lost anything or you have gained weight, you will have to add $5 to the pool. Simple as that!
This is the basic premise of the weight loss pool. There will be two winners, one who loses the most pounds and one who loses the most percentage of weight, they will split the total money in the pool. It is a great motivater, makes us all accountable and you may even learn something!
